Of course, you already know that Jen filed for divorce back in August of this year, after reuniting with Ben in 2021 and getting married the following year.
You probably also saw those reports that Ben and Jen were seen “kissing” at a family brunch earlier this fall — before other sources suggested that it was a public show of solidarity and not much more.
Last month, we found out that J.Lo felt like she had “no choice” but to initiate divorce proceedings against Ben. “She didn’t want to file for divorce…Nothing was gonna change with Ben,” a source told People.
A source tells the publication that the pair currently have “limited contact” with each other amidst their divorce proceedings. “The former couple is doing well overall, but at the moment they’re focused on their families, work commitments and just moving forward,” they claim.
It doesn’t sound like either of them are racing to hit the dating scene just yet, either — but the door’s not exactly closed, at least on Ben’s part. “Ben has other priorities that are more important than dating at this point, but he’s open to it,” the source claims.
As for Jen? The source claims that her “friends and family are giving her time and space to move on. Her loved ones want to see her get out there again and finally get her happy ever after.”
